António Galego & Filhos – Mármores, S.A. was founded at the beginning of the 80’s by its current administrator who started his business in the field of the transformation of Ornamental Portuguese Rocks, essentially dedicating himself, at this time, to the sawing and commercialisation of Natural Stones from the anticline of Borba, Vila Viçosa and Estremoz, with its production being exclusively directed towards the Portuguese market.
Marked by a strong investment policy and sustainable growth, the company, having its headquarters located in Bencatel (Vila Viçosa), has always managed to keep up with the evolutionary requirements of its markets which, in turn, allowed it to consolidate important market shares worldwide and also to effectively provide real-time answers to the various specificities and requirements of both its customers and employees.
